Abstract:
Provided are a drive power transmission member, a pretensioner, a retractor, and a method for manufacturing the drive power transmission member, with which it is possible to stabilize performance regardless of use environment. A drive power transmission member 32a according to this embodiment is characterized by including a base resin having water absorption characteristics such that water absorption is 1% or less using ISO 62 method 1 (method for measuring weight increase rate after being immersed in water for 24 hours at 23°C), and an elastomer that imparts mechanical characteristics to the drive power transmission member 32a, the mechanical characteristics being tensile yield stress (ISO 527) of 40-54 MPa, tensile fracture strain (ISO 527) of 50% or more, tensile elasticity (ISO 527) of 1200-1900 MPa, bend elasticity (ISO 178) of 1100-1700 MPa, and no-notch Charpy impact strength (ISO 179) of no fracture at -30°C or above.
