Abstract:
Provided is a drive recorder which can appropriately protect video information
being recorded when a vehicle battery is destroyed by an accident and the battery
is disconnected from the drive recorder. The drive recorder includes: a first
detection unit which outputs a first voltage-reduced signal when an input voltage
to the drive recorder is lowered to a first voltage or less; and a control unit which
interrupts normal recording to a recording element and records video information
of a reduced recording amount to the recording medium upon reception of the first
voltage-reduced signal.
