Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drive recorder with which it is possible to protect components having low heat resistance and sustain a recording function at a high pixel count or high frame rate. A drive recorder 10 having an image sensor 28 for imaging the surroundings and/or interior of a vehicle, said drive recorder 10 characterized by comprising: a temperature sensor 23 that can measure the internal temperature of the drive recorder 10; and a control unit 34 that controls the image quality of the image sensor 28 on the basis of the measurement value from the temperature sensor 23.
