Abstract:
Disclosed is a drive system for such a hybrid vehicle that transfers power from an electric motor to a counter shaft (14) only via a lock mechanism (61) or a first gear shifter (51), which constitutes an odd-number gear provided on a first main shaft (11). The drive system is adapted such that when running with a predetermined even-number gear selected, the vehicle is pre-shifted by the lock mechanism (61) or the first gear shifter (51) to an odd-number gear that is lower than the predetermined even-number gear. This enables improved drivability and regeneration with improved efficiency by the assistance of the motor.
