Abstract:
This drive system for driving an electric vehicle comprises: a remaining capacity acquisition unit 123 which sequentially acquires the remaining capacity of a first secondary battery 41 and the remaining capacity of a second secondary battery 42; and a connection control unit 124 which connects a secondary battery a the smaller remaining capacity selected from between the first secondary battery 41 and the second secondary battery 42 and a drive line having a larger motor regenerative electric power selected from between a front-wheel drive line 31 and a rear-wheel drive line 32 to each other at the deceleration of the electric vehicle and which connects a secondary battery having a larger remaining capacity and a drive line having a larger motor drive electric power selected from between the front-wheel drive line 31 and the rear-wheel drive line 32 to each other at the acceleration.
