Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a drive unit support device which makes it possible to ensure a space in front of a drive unit with respect to the vehicle while the reliability of the drive unit and the drive unit support device is ensured and while the drive unit and the drive unit support device are reduced in size. [Solution] A drive unit support device 1 supports a drive unit 8 for a vehicle provided with a ladder frame 2. The drive unit 8 includes a motor 10 which serves as the drive source for the vehicle, and a differential device 14 to which the drive force of the motor 10 is transmitted through a speed reduction mechanism 20. The drive unit support device 1 is provided with a connection section 28 by which the housing 25 of the drive unit 8 is connected to a cross member 6 constituting the ladder frame 2, and thereby the drive unit 8 is supported by the ladder frame 2. The housing 25 is supported and connected to the cross member 6 by the connection section 28 so that the motor 10 is located below the cross member 6.
