Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric power unit, especially for a vehicle drive system, with two electric motors (1) with the faces of their casings (3) adjacent and flanged together, in which an outer motor (2) is connected to a wheel body (16), an inner annular stator (4) is connected to the casing (3) and the rotor shaft (7) is connected to the wheel body (16). To reduce the bulk and increase the input powers or torque, the wheel body (16) is arranged on the face at which the two electric motors (1) are flanged together and the coupling device (8, 9, 19, 25; 26) is fitted inside the recess (10) in the stator (4).
