Abstract:
A differential signal communication system wherein a driver circuit, which is connected to a receiver circuit via a pair of differential signal lines, keeps the pair of differential signal lines at constant potentials when the driver circuit performs no data transmission and wherein the driver circuit outputs differential signals at given potentials when the driver circuit performs a data transmission. The receiver circuit performs a switching between a power-down state and a normal state at timing when the status of the potentials of the pair of differential signal lines has been detected.
