Abstract:
A driver circuit of a semiconductor laser comprises first bias means for supplying first bias current to an LD at least in the absence of output data; a signal processing means for generating a pulse current control signal obtained by delaying a burst data signal and for generating a second bias control current signal that rises a predetermined time earlier than burst data included in the pulse current control signal; means for supplying the LD with pulse current generated according to the pulse current control signal; and second bias means for supplying the LD with a second bias current generated according to the second bias current control signal.
