Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a radar module which is provided in a backrest of a driver seat and transmits or receives a radar signal to or from a driver; and a control module which executes a driver sitting detection mode to determine, using the radar module, whether the driver's sitting on the driver seat is detected, executes a heartbeat detection mode to allow the transmission or reception direction of the radar module to be directed toward the driver's heart when the driver's sitting is detected, and then executes a driver drowsiness determination mode to determine whether the driver is drowsy, using the radar signal of the radar module, which is directed toward the driver's heart.
