Abstract:
Provided is a driver seat airbag such that the occupant-facing surface thereof is able to assume a shape that is close to flat when the airbag is fully inflated, and such that it is possible to restrain the occupant while suppressing rotation of the head of the occupant in an oblique collision. This airbag 10 comprises: an occupant-side front panel 11; a rear panel 12 on the steering wheel 1 side; a front tether 20 which has a center portion 21 and a plurality of radial portions 22a to 22d extending radially from the center portion 21; and a tether guide 30 which is formed with a plurality of slits 32a to 32d. The center portion 21 of the front tether 20 is connected to the front panel 11. The plurality of radial portions 22a to 22d are inserted into the plurality of slits 32a to 32d, respectively, and the leading ends thereof are connected to the rear panel 12. The tether guide 30 is connected to the front panel 11.
