Abstract:
A vehicle (10) is provided with a braking device applying a braking force thereto, including a brake pedal (61), a brake actuator (64), a braking unit (65fl, 65fr, 65rl, 65rr) and so forth, whereas an electronic control device (1) is provided with a rate of change of vehicle speed setting device for setting a target rate of change of vehicle speed; and a vehicle speed control device for controlling a vehicle speed such that the target rate of change of vehicle speed is obtained in accordance with a given operation by a driver with respect to the braking device. For example, the rate of change of vehicle speed setting device sets a target rate of change of vehicle speed such that the vehicle (10) is accelerated when the given operation is applied while the vehicle (10) is stopped.
