Abstract:
A driving analysis apparatus 50 is provided with: a communication unit 51 that acquires angular velocities in the yaw direction of a plurality of vehicles driven by a plurality of drivers, vehicle speeds corresponding to the angular velocities, and accident history information about the presence/absence of the accident history of the plurality of drivers; and a control unit 53 that analyzes driving inclinations concerning the steering wheel operations of the plurality of drivers on the basis of the angular velocities, the vehicle speeds, and the accident history information. The control unit 53 classifies the angular velocities into the angular speeds of a first group having accident history and the angular speeds of a second group having no accident history, and determines, for each vehicle speed, a first reference value for detecting a sudden steering wheel operation and/or a second reference value for detecting an unstable steering wheel operation on the basis of an angular speed at a boundary between the first group and the second group.
