Abstract:
Provided are a driving assist device, a driving assist system, and a driving assist method that can assist in fuel-efficient travel. The driving assist device is equipped with: a speed acquisition unit for acquiring vehicle speed information; a distance information acquisition unit for acquiring information pertaining to the distance between the vehicle and an intersection; a travel state assessment unit for assessing, on the basis of the distance to the intersection, the vehicle speed, and signal information, a dangerous travel state that is determined by stop conditions for the vehicle to stop before the intersection and entry conditions for the vehicle to enter the intersection; a determination unit for determining whether to stop the vehicle at the intersection or allow the vehicle to pass through the intersection if the travel state assessment unit has assessed that the vehicle is in a dangerous travel state; and a specification unit for specifying, for the period until the vehicle reaches the intersection, a regenerative time period for traveling with regenerative braking or a coasting time period for coasting in accordance with the determination results from the determination unit.
