Abstract:
A heart rate sensor acquires the driver's heart rate. A degree of concentration-calculating unit estimates the driver's degree of concentration at a time after the heart rate acquisition by the heart rate sensor on the basis of the heart rate acquired by the heart rate sensor. A condition-assessing unit controls vehicle driving assistance on the basis of comparing the driver's degree of concentration estimated by the degree of concentration-calculating unit and the target value for the driver's degree of concentration established according to the location or environment that the vehicle driven by the driver is predicted to travel.
