Abstract:
This driving assistance device uses a camera to photograph a dynamic image of a periphery including the target on the road surface, creates a positioning dynamic image to be used in the positioning of the vehicle, and displays the resulting positioning dynamic image on a display monitor. The relative position of the target with respect to the vehicle is also acquired. According to the relative position of the target, the display mode of the positioning dynamic image displayed on the display monitor is switched between a first display mode (in which the target moves with reference to the vehicle) and a second display mode (in which the vehicle moves with reference to the target).
