Abstract:
This driving assistance device for saddled vehicles comprises: a vehicle body behavior generation means (25) for generating, with a specified output, a vehicle body behavior including roll motion; a control means (27) for controlling the drive of the vehicle body behavior generation means (25); and a vehicle body behavior detection means (28) for detecting the behavior of the vehicle body. When banking the vehicle body by actuating the vehicle body behavior generation means (25) during driving assistance of the vehicle, the control means (27) performs control so that the speed of increase in the bank angle detected by the vehicle body behavior detection means (28) is less than a preset roll speed threshold value. When raising the vehicle body from the banked state by actuating the vehicle body behavior generation means (25) during the driving assistance of the vehicle, the control means (27) raises the vehicle body without restricting the speed of decrease in the bank angle detected by the vehicle body behavior detection means (28).
