Abstract:
In a driving assistance device (10), information of a position of a vehicle exterior sound introduction point, which is specified as a point where vehicle exterior sound is to be output from a speaker inside the vehicle, is stored in a vehicle exterior sound introduction point storage unit (11). A determination unit (13) determines whether or not a vehicle exterior sound introduction point is near a host vehicle (1) on the basis of a position of the host vehicle (1) obtained by a vehicle position obtainment unit (12) and the position of the vehicle exterior sound introduction point stored in the vehicle exterior sound introduction point storage unit (11). When a vehicle exterior sound introduction point is near the host vehicle (1), a vehicle exterior sound obtainment unit (14) obtains vehicle exterior sound collected by a roadside sound collection device (30) installed at the vehicle exterior sound introduction point, and an output unit (15) causes the vehicle exterior sound obtained by the vehicle exterior sound obtainment unit (14) to be output from an in-vehicle speaker (23) of the host vehicle (1).
