Abstract:
A driving assistance device (1) is provided with: an assistance control device (50) that stores stopping position information regarding actual stopping positions where a vehicle has stopped at reference stopping positions, calculates, on the basis of the stored stopping position information, estimated distance variations in the actual stopping positions with respect to the reference stopping positions, and creates, on the basis of the estimated distance variations, a target vehicle traveling state wherein the timing for initiating stopping assistance has been changed; and an assistance device (4) that is capable of outputting driving assistance information for assisting with the operation of the vehicle (2) on the basis of a target traveling state level of the vehicle (2).
