Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology with which a driver can intuitively select and determine a target object to which a vehicle should head. A driving assistance device (1) is provided with: a candidate selection unit (13) that selects a target object candidate if it is determined that the position of the driver's line of sight is included within any set range of a plurality of target object candidates; and a target object determination unit (14) that determines, as a target object, the target object candidate selected by the candidate selection unit (13) if a determination button that is operable by the driver is operated after the target object candidate is selected by the candidate selection unit (13).
