Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a driving assistance system capable of encouraging, in an appropriate mode, a driver of a vehicle to observe rules of the road. [Solution] In a driving assistance system 1, a calculation unit 33 of a server 3 calculates, on the basis of positional information included in a request signal transmitted from a notification device 2 mounted on a vehicle X, an estimated passage range A where the vehicle X will pass after a predetermined period of time, and extracts, from regulation information items stored in a storage unit 31, a regulation information item for the estimated passage range A. A server-side transmission unit 34 of the server 3 transmits, as a response signal for the estimated passage range A, the extracted regulation information item. The response signal does not include a regulation information item corresponding to an information item, among various types of traffic regulations observance information items, not satisfying a notification standard. A notification unit 24 of the notification device 2 gives a notification to the driver of the vehicle X on the basis of the response signal.
