Abstract:
A driving circuit for a backlight module of display device and a driving method thereof are provided. The driving method comprises following steps: a phase detector (153) detects the voltage phase of an inductance and a capacitance in a resonant circuit (152) (S201); a frequency modulating module (154) obtains operation frequency value according to the phase detecting signal (S202); and a driving chip (155) drives a direct current/alternating current power stage circuit (151) according to the operation frequency value (S203). The driving method can improve conversion efficiency of the driving circuit.
