Abstract:
Provided are a driving circuit and a display device capable of minimizing the delay of a driving signal. Each shift register comprises: an output switching element having a first controlled terminal into which a prescribed clock signal is input, and a second controlled terminal connected to an output node from which a driving signal is output; a first input switching element having a first controlled terminal into which a set signal maintained at a high level during a prescribed set period is input, and a second controlled terminal connected to the control terminal of the output switching element; and a control unit which, when a prescribed control signal is input therein, performs control so as to apply a prescribed potential to the second controlled terminal of the output switching element. The potential of the low level for a prescribed clock signal is lower than the potential of the low level for a driving signal. The prescribed control signal is input into the control unit when the prescribed clock signal falls to change the potential of the output node from a high level to a low level.
