Abstract:
A driving circuit (100) and a driving method for a display device. The display device comprises a driving module (201) and a display panel (202). The driving circuit (100) comprises: a number N of single-ended conversion differential modules (101, 102, ..., 10N), connected with N signal output lines (G1, G2, ..., GN) of the driving module (201) and 2N scanning lines (G1', G2', ..., G2N') of the display panel (202) and accessing a clock signal, wherein each of the single-ended conversion differential modules (101, 102, ..., 10N) is correspondingly connected with one signal output line (G1, G2, ... ..., GN) and two scanning lines (G1', G2', ..., G2N'). The N single-ended conversion differential modules (101, 102, ..., 10N) are used to output, according to the clock signal, to the 2N scanning lines ( G1', G2', ..., G2N') scanning signals output by the N signal output lines (G1, G2, ..., GN) to charge the 2N scanning lines (G1', G2', ..., G2N') by means of the N signal output lines (G1, G2, ..., GN). N≥1 and N is a positive integer. The number of the driving modules (201) can be reduced, thereby effectively reducing the production cost of the display device.
