Abstract:
Provided is a driving control method in which, during movement control where the lateral position of a host vehicle V1 is altered to move the host vehicle V1 ahead of an obstacle Ob1, a sensor 1 is used to obtain detected information pertaining to the obstacle Ob1, such as another vehicle, present ahead of the host vehicle V1, the movement possibility of the obstacle Ob1 beginning to move is calculated on the basis of the detected information, a movement path for moving the host vehicle V1 ahead of the obstacle VP is calculated according to the calculated movement possibility, and the movement path is outputted.
