Abstract:
[Problem] To suppress the deterioration of a smoothing capacitor provided in a power supply device of a driving device. [Solution] According to the present invention, a driving device 100 is provided with an output unit 13, an input unit 11, a rectifier circuit 15, a switching circuit 17, and a controller 19. The input unit 11 inputs an AC input Vin. The rectifier circuit 15 has a smoothing capacitor SC and converts the AC input Vin into a rectified output Vout. The switching circuit 17 switches between an ON-state in which input impedance is low and an OFF-state in which input impedance is higher than that in the ON-state. The controller 19 sets a start timing such that, when controlling the switching circuit 17 to switch between the ON-state and the OFF-state, at least a portion of a period, in which the start timing of a power supply period Tps becomes a second timing that is earlier than the first timing, is included in a period from a time when an input current inputted to the smoothing capacitor SC is generated to a time when the voltage of the smoothing capacitor SC reaches a maximum value Vrmax.
