Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a driving device and a power steering device in which redundancy of a magnetic sensor can be achieved. [Solution] An embodiment of this driving device is provided with: a motor comprising a rotor and a stator; and a control unit that controls the operation of the motor. The motor is provided with: a shaft extending to the control unit and rotating together with the rotor; and a magnet fixed to the shaft and rotating together with the shaft. The control unit is provided with mounting substrates disposed on both sides of the magnet, and a magnetic sensor for detecting the rotation angle of the magnet is mounted on each of the mounting substrates.
