Title:
DRIVING DEVICE FOR THREE-PHASE BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1998/037621
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A driving device for three-phase brushless motor which can provide stable rotation characteristics even when braking operations are made for inverting the polarity of the motor or noise, etc., occurs while the motor is rotated. The driving device is provided with a comparator circuit which outputs a rectangular wave signal by comparing the back electromotive force of the motor with each mid-point voltage, a synthesizing circuit which generates a drive signal, a circuit which generates a speed signal from the rectangular wave signal and further generates a phase signal which is shifted in phase by 30, and a current supplying circuit which supplies a driving current to the motor based on the drive signal and phase signal. The driving device is also provided with a selector circuit which generates a select signal from the drive signal and phase signal and performs masking by feeding back the select signal by connecting a gate circuit to the poststage side of the comparator circuit.
