Abstract:
Provided is a driving force control method which is executed in a vehicle provided with a first electric motor that drives front wheels and a second electric motor that drives rear wheels, and in which the required driving force for travel driving is distributed at predetermined distribution ratio in accordance with the traveling state of the vehicle and is outputted by the first electric motor and the second electric motor, wherein output torque is moved from one electric motor to the other electric motor and a slip state parameter indicating the slip state of the vehicle is set in accordance with a change in the distribution ratio based on the traveling state of the vehicle, the upper limit of the change rate of the output torque to be moved is set to a relatively small first upper limit value when the slip state parameter is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, and the upper limit of the change rate is set to a relatively large second upper limit value when the slip state parameter exceeds the threshold value.
