Abstract:
A driving method and a driving system that reduce an afterimage displayed by an AMOLED. The method comprises: performing a high-contrast edge detection on a still frame (S220); on the basis of the edge detection result, determining the edge contrast for each pixel (S230); adjusting output luminance proportionality coefficient for each pixel according to the edge contrast for each pixel and position of the pixel itself (S240); and outputting pixel luminance by outputting luminance proportionality coefficients corresponding to each pixel (S250).
