Title:
DRIVING OPERATION SUPPORT DEVICE, DRIVING OPERATION SUPPORT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/136743
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a driving operation support device and a driving operation support method that allow a driver to intuitively recognize changes in road surface gradient and the presence of driving operation support, and that facilitate the performance of driving operation that matches the surrounding traffic conditions. The greater the road surface gradient (θ) is on the uphill side, the more the engine torque (Te) that corresponds to accelerator operation by the driver is increased (Step S105), and the greater the road surface gradient (θ) is on the downhill slope side, the more the engine torque (Te) that corresponds to accelerator operation by the driver is decreased (Step S106). The pedal reaction force (Tr) that is assigned with regards to accelerator operation by the driver is changed in accordance with the road surface gradient (θ), and the increase/decrease direction of the pedal reaction force (Tr) is set to be the same as the increase/decrease direction at the time at which the engine torque (Te) is changed in accordance with the road surface gradient (θ). In other words, the greater the road surface gradient (θ) is on the uphill slope side, the more the pedal reaction force (Tr) is increased (Step S111). The greater the road surface gradient (θ) is on the downhill slope side, the more the pedal reaction force (Tr) is decreased (Step S112).
