Abstract:
Provided is a driving roller that can be manufactured at low cost for circulating a wire mesh belt used as a conveyor belt, and also provided is a food manufacturing apparatus using the driving roller. A driving roller (1) comprises: a rotation shaft (2); and a toothed roller (3) concentrically attached to the outer circumference of the rotation shaft (2). The toothed roller (3) comprises: a cylindrical base part (3f) on the outer circumference of which teeth parts (3g) are provided in a plurality of rows to engage with a wire mesh belt (5); and an attachment means (3d) for attaching the base part (3f) to the rotation shaft (2). The driving roller (1) is used in a food manufacturing apparatus (25).
