Abstract:
Provided is a driving tool capable of suppressing a decline in the strength of a valve body which contacts and separates from a valve seat. A driver (10) which has a striking part (13) capable of operating, a piston upper chamber (32) which causes the striking part (13) to operate by the pressure of a gas, a housing (11), a head cap (27) provided inside the housing (11), a channel (29) provided to the head cap (27), and an exhaust valve (30) which opens and closes the channel (29) and is provided so as to be capable of operating inside the housing (11), wherein the exhaust valve (30) is equipped with a contact part (80) and a non-contact part (81), the contact part (80) contacts and separates from the head cap (27) at a location outward from the channel (29) in the radial direction of the channel (29), and the non-contact part (81) is provided inward from the contact part (80) in the radial direction of the channel (29) and is provided in a location which is separated from the head cap (27) while the contact part (80) is in a state of contact with the head cap (27).
