Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a drone (unmanned flying body) capable of appropriately capturing images of root position portions and side surfaces of field crops in a field. [Solution] When a camera capable of capturing images in the rearward direction with respect to a travelling direction of the drone at a downward angle of about 60° is mounted on a lower portion of a drone, and images of field crops which have been temporarily pressed down by a downward airflow of rotor blades of the drone are captured, images of root position portions and side surfaces can be appropriately captured. The downward angle of the camera may be automatically adjustable depending on the flying speed, wind force, and wind direction. In addition, the entirety of an airframe is preferably rotated such that the camera is always positioned in a constant direction when the drone changes direction.
