Abstract:
A drop-bottom container, comprising a pair of bottom plates (11) installed openably at the bottom of the container, locking pins (14) attached to the bottom plates (11), a pair of opening and closing arms (57) capable of locking the locking pins (14), intermediate links (56) linking the arms (57) with a block (55), a suspending rod (52) fixed to the block, rocker arms (54) which are installed near the bottom end of a sleeve (53) through which the rod (52) is passed and connected to the opening and closing arms, a lifting arm (51) connected to the suspending rod (52), a manual lever (53) which is inserted between the suspending arm (51) and the sleeve (53) and rotatable about the suspending rod (52), and a lever stopper (58) stopping the lowering of the manual lever (53), whereby the opening or non-opening of the container on touching the ground can be selected arbitrarily by the manual lever.
