Abstract:

The present invention pertains to a drop-type automatic excrement processing device configured so that the degree of restraint on the body of the subject to whom the device is fit is made less, and the device comprises the following: a diaper cover section (1) that covers the buttocks and the genitals of a subject-of-use such as an elderly person; a defecation accepting section (2) and a urine catching pad (3) which are attached to the diaper cover section; a defecation and urination etc. intake pipe (5) for accepting feces and the like discharged through the defecation accepting section (2) and guiding the same into a waste container (4); a valve unit (6) interposed at a point along the intake pipe; a washing-water tank (7) for storing washing water for washing the buttocks and the like; a warm-wind generating means (8) for generating a warm wind used for drying the buttocks and the like after washing; and a control means (9) for controlling the operation of each of the foregoing. The drop-type automatic excrement processing device is characterized in that a defecation tube (2b), of the defecation accepting section (2), which protrudes from the diaper cover section (1) protrudes below a bed (10) through a defecation hole (10h) of the bed (10), and is connected to a funnel-shaped part (5a) on the upper part of the defecation and urination etc. intake pipe (5) so as to be vertically movable and inclinable.
