A droplet discharge device and an adjustment method for a discharge head that suppress degradation of image quality when there is a droplet discharge failure are provided. The droplet discharge device is provided with: a droplet discharge means including two or more discharge heads and causing droplets to land onto a medium being relatively moved in a predetermined moving direction; a discharge control means for causing the droplets to be discharged in a landing pattern for obtaining a disposed direction of the discharge heads; a landing pattern detection means; a means for calculating a correction amount for the disposed direction on the basis of detection data; and a disposed direction adjusting means. Each discharge head is provided with discharge nozzles arranged at a predetermined resolution in a width direction orthogonal to the moving direction, the discharge heads being integrally formed in an arrangement such that two discharge heads overlap each other in the moving direction in a relative positional relationship for increasing the resolution. The landing pattern is formed only by the discharge nozzles of a second discharge head on a downstream side in the moving direction, and the correction amount is calculated so that the disposed direction of the second discharge head becomes closer to an ideal direction than a first discharge head on an upstream side in the moving direction.
