Abstract:
[Problem] To enable drowsiness to be estimated with high accuracy regardless of individual differences. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: an RRI acquisition means (21) for acquiring RRI data; an index-value calculation means (23) which calculates index values for a plurality of types of indices related to the activity of autonomic nerves; a drowsiness estimation means (24) which, on the basis of drowsiness estimation rules, evaluates the index values calculated by the index-value calculation means (23), to estimate drowsiness; a storage means in which the drowsiness estimation rules are stored; a drowsiness-information output device (40) which outputs information related to whether or not drowsiness is present; a drowsiness-data acquisition means (51) which acquires the information outputted from the drowsiness-information output device; a reference-data generation means (52) which uses the drowsiness data to generate reference data for evaluating the suitability of the drowsiness estimation rules; and an update means (53) which, on the basis of the reference data and the calculated index values, updates the drowsiness estimation rules stored in the storage means.
