Abstract:

A drug delivery method is disclosed, comprising directing a fluid into a container (100) containing a drug agent, allowing the fluid to flow along a pressure release channel (231) and discharge from a pressure release through-hole of the container (100), and after a flow rate of the fluid stabilizes, starting drug delivery by closing the pressure release through-hole such that the fluid enters and flows along a pressurized channel (232), and discharges from an outlet of the pressurized channel (232) such that the drug agent is pushed towards an outlet of the container (100) for delivery. The drug delivery method allows delivery of the drug agent in the container (100) in a more stable, sustained and balanced manner and with reduced force, effectively avoiding a sudden release of pressure which can cause the drug agent to rebound off a target tissue and obscure the field of view of an endoscope. With the drug delivery method, a drug agent (such as a hemostatic agent) can be delivered more accurately, and an endoscopic surgery can be performed in a more continuous manner, thereby improving a hemostatic effect and shortening surgery time.
