Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a drug dispensing device and a drug dispensing program, allowing a tablet cassette and a manual dispensing unit to be used by taking the work efficiency of a user into account. [Solution] This drug dispensing device is provided with: a tablet cassette capable of dispensing individually a tablet from a storage unit storing a plurality of tablets; a manual dispensing unit capable of dispensing tablets of each of a plurality of compartments in which tablets are introduced; an assignment processing unit capable of assigning, to the manual dispensing unit or to either of the tablet cassette and a mounting unit on which the tablet cassette is mounted, drug information of a tablet to be dispensed; and a drive processing unit for dispensing the tablet to be dispensed, from the tablet cassette or the manual dispensing unit, on the basis of the result from the assignment by the assignment unit. Then, among multiple types of tablets to be dispensed, the assignment processing unit prioritizes drug information of a tablet having a smaller size, for assignment to the tablet cassette or to the mounting unit.
