Abstract:
The present invention provides a drug inspection assistance device and drug inspection assistance method that are able to increase the efficiency of the visual inspection work of a pharmacist in the inspection of a drug. The drug inspection assistance device (10) inspects a drug that is packaged in a packet and that has been prepared on the basis of prescription information. A drug database (15) contains drug master images of drugs that can be prepared. A drug determination means (13) compares the drug master images from the drug database and a captured image of the prepared drug, and determines the drug present in the captured image and the number of pieces of the drug. A list generation means (18) generates a list table displaying, in a positionally arranged manner, the drug master image of the drug prepared in accordance with the prescription and each drug region image determined to be a drug in the captured image.
