Abstract:
The purpose is to facilitate a visual check of character information that expresses information in characters and secures reading of coded information that expresses information as one-dimensional codes or two-dimensional codes. This packaging device comprises: a packaging unit that forms packaging bags (21), in which drugs (100) are stored, from a packaging material having an extended sheet shape; and an information writing unit that writes information (110) relevant to the drugs (100) on the packaging material. The information (110) relevant to the drugs (100) includes: character information (111) that expresses the information (110) in characters; and coded information (120) that expresses the information (110) as two-dimensional codes. The information writing unit writes the character information (111) as horizontally flipped characters in mirror writing and writes the coded information (120) without horizontal flipping.
