Abstract:

Use of 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-4-methylergost-7-en-3-ol or compositions which consist of extracts of liliaceous plants or fractions thereof containing 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-4-methyl- ergost-7-en-3-ol and contain the compound in amounts of 0.001 to 10 % by mass on a dry basis in drugs for improving pancreatic functions as the active ingredient.
