A DRUM LID EQUIPPED WITH A SAFETY

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a drum lid which is equipped with a safety. This invention more specifically relates to a drum lid which also can be used to secure the content of the drum from falsification, where the drum lid according to this invention consists of a drum lid body, catch grip, drum lid cap and seal cap which is equipped with a locking pin and key hole having a flower shape with a concave groove at the base side of the catch grip which can hold the locking pin in such a way so that, if the seal cap is opened, the scratch line on the surface of the seal cap and drum lid cap will be damaged, or the locking pin is broken off and/or the surface of the flower shaped hole will be lifted, or else the locking pin is damaged and it stays in the flower shaped hole at the base side of the catch grip.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Various kinds of safety drum lids having a function of securing the drum content are widely recognized such as to secure the content of the drum from falsification, but in reality the falsification of the drum content, such as lubrication oil, is still happening. This is due to the fact that the seal cap of the drum lid is easy to be copied illegally by making a fake seal cap of the drum lid which is the same as the original. The falsification of the lubricant by irresponsible people is very unfavorable to the

"pr'όdύcer-s and consumers since the quality of the faked lubricant purchased can be harmful to the engines. In addition, it can be disadvantageous to the supplying companies of drum lid and seal cap since the order of the goods can decrease due to the follow-up impact of the falsification of the lubricant .

Based on the problem of the safety drum lid existing previously, the inventor proposes their invention titled: "Drum lid equipped with a safety" which is designed in such a way having a specific shape so it can solve the above problem, especially the falsification of the lubricant oil.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main purpose of the present invention is to overcome the problems previously existing, particularly in terms of security of the drum content through the drum lid, where the invention of this drum lid comprises,

A drum lid which' is equipped with a safety to secure the drum content from falsification, the drum lid according to this invention comprises of a drum lid body, catch grip, drum lid cap, and seal cap, where the catch grip has a base side and upright sides which are close to the drum lid, the catch grip mounted on the upper surface of the base of the drum lid by welding. The catch grip has a hole at the base side having a flower shape and a concave groove on its upper surface to make it easy to insert the locking pin and keep it in the hole as well as enable it to receive the locking pin of the drum lid

"SS-jsF-cit the base side of the catch grip, the locking pin is placed properly at the middle of the seal cap hole and the hole of the drum lid cap so that the locking pin is held in the flower shaped hole at the base side of the catch grip in such a way so that if the seal cap is opened by force, the surface of the seal cap and drum lid cap will be damaged, because there is a tearing line, which may be a scratch line, or the locking pin is broken off and/or the surface of the hole will be lifted or the opposite the locking pin is broken off and stay in the hole at the base side of the catch grip. ^y ' Another purpose of the invention is to present a drum lid equipped with a safety which is designed in such a way using a simple technology that is more practical and efficient during assembly.

The other purposes and benefits as well as more detail description of the present invention as a favorable embodiment will be described with reference to the associated drawings.

DETA'ILED DESCRIPTION

The present invention will be described in detail by referring to the associated drawings.

However, it is to be understood that this invention is not limited to the parts, configurations and so forth, which will be described specifically as changes, variation, size changes and other modifications can be made without going out of the main context and scope described herein. Referring to Figure 1 through Figure 11, which shows in detail a drawing of the drum lid equipped with a safety, according to the invention, which is configured and installed in a practical way and can solve the problem of falsification of the drum contents using an installation method such as a drum lid cap (3) which is placed on the drum lid (1) or on the catch grip (2); locking pin (10) is inserted through the hole (16) located right in the middle of the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3); locking pin (10) goes through the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3) and the locking pin tip (13) is inserted right in the flower shaped hole (8) at the base side of the catch grip (2) having a concave area (11) on the top surface; the flower shaped hole (8) at the base side of the catch grip (2) will be flattened after the catch grip is inserted by pressing the catch grip (10) downward. The invention can also be carried out, using the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3), by firstly inserting the locking pin (10) in the hole of the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3) and then the locking pin (10), the seal cap (4), and the drum lid cap (3) are all placed on the catch

(10) subsequently presses the concave area (11) of the flower shaped hole (8) until it is fully inserted and its surface is flattened; pressing the drum lid cap (3) on the catch grip (2) can be done by using a pressing tool which is specifically designed (not shown in the figure) so that the installation can be done easily and practically. When the locking pin (10) has been pressed and goes through the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3) and the flower shaped hole (8) at the base side of the catch grip (2), in accordance with the invention, so it is said that the installation has been completed. If the seal cap (4) is pried off, the scratch line (15) seen on the surface of the seal cap (4) and the scratch line (12) seen on the surface of the drum lid cap (3) will be damaged, or the locking pin (10) is broken off and/or the flower shaped surface of the hole will be lifted or the locking pin tip (13) is damaged and stays in the hole (8) at the base side of the catch grip (2) .

The drum lid equipped with a safety, in accordance with the invention, is supported by the body of the drum lid (1) , catch grip (2) , drum lid cap (3), seal cap (4) having a scratch line (15) and hole (16) in its middle part where in the surrounding hole (16) there is a circle and it gives a concave area downwardly, particularly for the drum lid cap (3), it can be made in several embodiments such as shown in the Figures 6-6o. The catch grip has a base side (5) and upright sides (6), which is mounted on the upper surface of the body base of the

agfciim^lid (1) by welding with six weld point (7), the catch grip (2) has a flower shaped hole at the base side (8) protruding upwardly with a circle shape having a concave area (11) and in another embodiment of the hole the hole (8") protrudes upwardly and also has a concave area (11) and the side part has a rectangular shape as shown in figure 9b. At the upright side there is bend (9) which can receive the locking pin of the drum lid cap at the base side catch grip (2) . The drum lid which is equipped with a safety according to this invention is designed in such a way having a specific indication where the locking pin (10) can be inserted in the hole of the catch grip (2) as such so that if the seal cap (4), which is in contact with the drum lid cap (3) , (3' ' ) is opened by force the scratch line (15) and (12), (12') on the surface of seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3), (3') will be damaged or the locking pin (10), (10') is broken off and/or surface of the flower shaped hole (8) will be lifted or the locking pin tip (13) is broken off and it stays in the hole

(8) at the base side of the catch grip (2) . The locking pin (10) which is located at the drum lid cap (3) can have an end part with conical shape having a blunt point (13), (13') and in the neck portion (14) the end part of the head is made round to be able to catch properly the hole (8) of the catch grip (2) and as the breaking point of the locking pin (10) . The drum lid cap (3) lies on the two bent portions (9) of upright side of the catch grip (2) . The flower shaped hole (8) at the catch grip can be round with a star shape. The tearing

rirrrer""at the seal cap (4) and drum lid cap (3) , which may be a scratch line (12) and (15) which surrounds the locking pin (10) and extends toward the hole of the drum lid (11) . The seal cap (4) , if it is opened by force, will break the surface of the scratch line

(12) and (15) of the seal cap (4) and the drum lid cap (3) . The seal cap (4) can be hooked to the drum seal cap (3) and if the seal cap (4) is opened, the drum lid cap (3) is also opened. The lid which is equipped with a safety according . to the invention at its embodiment can be carried out in accordance with the invention, however it is not limited on being used with the drum lid cap (3) only which is given to the locking pin. This can be done since it still covers the scope of the invention in which the invention is essentially a locking pin (10) which can go through the hole of the seal cap (4) and/or the hole of the drum lid cap (3) and it enters the flower shaped hole (8) at the base side of the catch grip to secure the drum lid (1) .

Referring to Figure 12 through Figure 21, showing another embodiment of the drum lid equipped with a safety as it is known that the drum has two 5 lids/ the big one and the small one. The drum lid of the embodiment described in Figure 12-21 is directed to the small drum lid having a body of the drum lid

of the body base of the drum lid (I' ) by welding with the two weld points (V ), the catch grip (2' ) has two flower shaped holes (8' ) at the base side which can receive a locking pin (10') of the drum lid cap at the base side of the catch grip ( 2 ' ) and it can also receive a key hole of the drum lid cap at the upright side (H') of the catch grip. The catch grip (2') has front and rear side extending with the same length and at the left and right upright side (6') it is bent to form a U shape and it is combined with the base side of the body of the drum lid (1) by welding (7') . The catch grip (2') has a hole (8') at the base side protruding upwardly with a circular shape having concave groove (11) and it is made round with flower shape, as another embodiment of the hole (8') is the hole (8''') where it also protrudes upwardly with the side part having a rectangular shape as shown in Figure 19b, to receive the locking pin of the drum lid cap (10') and key hole if the upright side (H') so that if the seal cap (4' ) is opened, drum lid cap

(3' ) is also opened and damaged since it is connected each other with seal cap (4' ) . The damage will occur on the drum lid cap (3') and seal cap (4) along the scratch line (12') and (15) as in the main embodiment of this invention.

From the above description it is clear that this invention is very likely to be used as a safety, particularly for a drum since it can secure the contents of the drum from falsification.
