Abstract:
Disclosed is a drum that: keeps the degree of abrasive blasting of an entire product to be treated uniform by improving the agitation of the product to be treated, which is buried at the bottom of a drum for a shot blast apparatus; and minimizes denting due to collisions between several products to be treated. Also disclosed is shot blast apparatus that uses said drum. The drum is provided with: a hollow body; a lower half having a conic trapezoidal-shaped bottom; and an agitating projection for agitating products to be treated, which is connected to said lower half and said body. Said agitating projection has at least two surfaces, one of which is a lifting surface, and the other of which is a slipping down surface. The shot blast apparatus is provided with a cabinet and a centrifugal projection machine in addition to the drum. Said cabinet comprises a ceiling wall, and a sealing wall section composed of a floor wall and side walls on the side of an opening. A cabinet opening in said drum is provided with a lid that can be closed, and said lid is attached to the drum so as to rotate integrally with the drum.
