Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an outer tank cover (4) that covers the front surface side of an outer tank; a door packing (10) that water seals a door (9) and the outer tank cover (4); and a drain hole (16) provided in the vicinity of the lower portion of a connection part connecting the outer tank cover (4) and the door packing (10). The door packing (10) has: an outer-side protruding part (11B) that is provided on the outer side in the radial direction with respect to the rotation axis of a drum (3) and has shape that protrudes toward the door (9) side; and an inner-side recessed part (12B) that is provided further to the inner side in the radial direction than the outer-side protruding part (11B) and has shape recessed toward the door (9) side. The inner-side recessed part (12B) includes an outer-side section positioned to the outer side in the radial direction, an inner-side section (12b) positioned to the inner side in the radial direction, and a vertex section (12c) positioned at the border between the outer-side section and the inner-side section (12b). The inner-side section (12b) has a portion that does not protrude further to the outer tank cover (4) side than the vertex section (12c).
