Abstract:
A drum washing machine capable of preventing a pouch-type detergent from being dissolved and retained in a door seal. The drum washing machine (1) is provided with: an outer tub (20) arranged in a machine body (10); an annular door seal (24) arranged between a delivery port (11) of the machine body (10) and an opening portion (20a) of the outer tub (20); a drum (23) arranged in the outer tub (20); a driving motor (30) for rotating the drum (23); a water supply apparatus (50) for supplying water into the outer tub (20); and a control portion. During cleaning, the control portion is used for supplying water into the outer tub (20) by means of the water supply apparatus (50); the drum (23) rotates at a first rotating speed by means of the driving motor (30) after water is supplied; after the drum (23) rotates at the first rotating speed, whether the pouch-type detergent put into the drum washing machine (1) is fully dissolved is determined; and when it is determined that the pouch-type detergent is not fully dissolved, the drum (23) rotates at a second rotating speed higher than the first rotating speed by means of the driving motor (30).
