Abstract:
This dry machining apparatus (1) is provided with a tool for machining a workpiece, and an air jet nozzle (22) arranged below the tool. The air jet nozzle (22) has a first surface for receiving shavings produced by machining, a second surface arranged above the first surface, a third surface connecting the first surface and the second surface, and an air jet opening (21) for jetting air from the second surface towards the boundary between the second surface and the third surface. At least a portion of the air jetted from the air jet opening is supplied to the first surface.
