Abstract:
This dry rotary barrel polishing device is provided with a barrel tank (10) for accommodating a workpiece, a medium (M) and a compound (C), the barrel tank (10) being capable of rotating about an axis of rotation, a drive device (11) which drives the barrel tank (10) in rotation about the axis of rotation, and a dust collector (12) which sucks dust from the interior of the barrel tank (10), wherein: the barrel tank (10) includes a first surface (40a) and a second surface (40b) which face one another in the direction of the axis of rotation, and a side surface (40c) connected to the first surface (40a) and the second surface (40b); a first opening portion (10f) and a second opening portion (10p) allowing the inside of the barrel tank (10) to communicate with the outside are formed in the barrel tank (10); the second opening portion (10p) is formed either in the first surface (40a) or in a position in the side surface (40c) closer to the first surface (40a) than to the second surface (40b); and the dust collector (12) sucks the dust from the interior of the barrel tank (10) through the second opening portion (10p).
