Abstract:
The present invention provides a dry spraying material for a firing furnace that does not require a drying process after spraying and makes it possible to suppress physical impact from objects in the furnace. The dry spraying material according to the present invention is for a firing furnace having a furnace wall temperature of 1400°C or less, the dry spraying material including 1-10% by mass of raw material-derived SiO2 having a particle size of less than 75 μm and 5-40% by mass of raw material-derived Al2O3 having a particle size of less than 75 μm. In addition, fine powders of one or more basic compounds selected from magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium nitrate, calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and calcium nitrate having a particle size of less than 75 μm are included in a total amount of 0.1-5% by mass in the raw material blend. One or more compounds selected from alkali silicates and alkali phosphates are used as a binder, and the amount of cement used is limited to 5% by mass or less.
